The University of Hawaiʻi Conference Center, a program affiliated with Outreach College, provides a unique access to the University of Hawaiʻi system, state and county governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and professional associations in Hawaiʻi in the area of organizing, managing and evaluating the meeting needs of adult groups. The services of the Conference Center are designed to provide maximum support to sponsoring organizations that lack the time and training to manage the critical elements of conference planning and development, fiscal management and coordination due to already busy schedules.

The UH Conference Center has proved to be a valuable resource to staff at the Department of Health. Over the past 20 years, the Conference Center has assisted a number of DOH programs in organizing meetings ranging from less than 50 to over 500 participants. The ability to partner with the Center in facilitating the timely transfer of knowledge and information has resulted in a higher level of programs serving Hawai‘i's people. |  |
