If you are new to the payroll industry, have a job that supports payroll, are preparing for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) examinations, or are in need of RCH credits to maintain certification, this course covers the fundamental payroll calculations and applications you need to know.

PayTrain Fundamentals and PayTain Mastery, which completes the review of knowledge required for the more advanced Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification, were developed with the American Payroll Association (APA). Payroll calculations critical to successfully passing the FPC and CPP exams are reviewed in PayTrain Fundamentals and not repeated in PayTrain Mastery.
PayTrain Fundamentals and PayTrain Mastery are timed to meet APA`s April and October exam periods. Fees for the FPC and CPP certification exams are separate from University of Hawai‘i program fees. Previously certified payroll professionals who complete PayTrain Fundamentals can earn 30 RCH`s and certified payroll professionals who complete PayTrain Mastery can earn 36 RCH`s upon receipt of course certificates of completion.
