Introduction to Home Composting

Americans generate more than 200 million tons of solid waste annually! Home composting is an ideal and inexpensive way to reduce household solid waste that would otherwise end up in our bulging landfills. Begin recycling vegetables, fruits, grass clippings, wood shavings, paper, and other organic materials. Learn how to compost a finished product free of weed seeds and pathogens, ready to use as a natural fertilizer.
