Certification
Hawai`i Administrative Rules, Title 11, Chapter 25, "Rules Relating to Certification of Public Water System Operators" require public water system operators to be certified, and operators must obtain continuing education units (`CEUs`) for re-certification every two (2) years. Grade 1 and 2 certified operators are required to obtain .8 CEU or eight hours of training every two years. Grade 3 and 4 operators are required to obtain 1.6 CEUs or sixteen (16) hours of training every two years. Courses in this series are designed to provide .8 CEUs (full-day class) or .4 CEUs of training (half-day class).
