Discover the basics of web programming! Learn the necessary building blocks to start publishing Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) documents on the world wide web. Designed for people with little-to-no programming experience, the course covers basic HTML topics, including text formatting, hyperlinks, and adding images.

Chad Kassirer has been a freelance web contractor living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area more than 10 years. Recently, Kassirer served as an international judge for the 2005 Indonesian Web Awards and was the technical editor for the book, Web Redesign: Workflow that Works - 2nd Edition. As the former director of production for the web development shops, Red Eye Digital Media and Idea Integration/San Francisco, Kassirer has played a key role in the production process for several award-winning websites.
