If you are building only standard, static websites, you are missing the tremendous growth opportunity in creating database-driven sites. Dynamic, database-driven sites are more powerful, flexible, and lucrative than standard sites. This course is tailored for web designers who want to make the leap to dynamic sites but do not know where to start. In this course you learn how to work with PHP and MySQL on Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 to build both public-facing and private administrative database driven sites.

Joe Lowery is the author of the best-selling Dreamweaver and Fireworks Bible, published by IDG Books Worldwide. Lowery, a web designer, has been training corporate clients and individuals in computer graphics and web design since 1996. He is also the co-author of Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 Recipes, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 Beyond the Basics, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 Killer Tips, and the author of Buying Online for Dummies. Occasionally Lowery writes for Wired magazine; the Seybold Report on Internet Publishing; and the GadgetBoy Gazette, an online consumer electronics review service.
