The Photoshop CS3 Image Therapy Seminar
Michael Ninness is coming back to Honolulu to teach you how to get the most of Adobe Photoshop! In this one-day seminar, Ninness teaches the speed tips that enable you to perfect any image in record time. Plus, learn his favorite techniques for retouching, masking, compositing, and anything else you need to get your images looking the way you want them to. End the day feeling a lot more confident with a better self image of your Photoshop skills.

Photoshop CS3 is loaded with tools for tonal and color correction so you can always produce the highest quality images. This session shows you how to get the most out of the new and existing features to trim steps from many editing tasks including noise reduction, matching color across images and quickly correcting over or under exposed images. Along the way, you learn the secrets of Levels, Curves, Layers, Adjustment Layers, Blending Modes, Layer Masks and much, much more!

Masking the Tough Stuff

Creating precise selections and accurate masks for images with translucent objects, complex subjects and fine hair can drive you to tear out your own. This session helps prevent premature baldness while teaching you the same selection and masking secrets and techniques that the pros use. With the many selection tools available in Photoshop, it can be hard to determine which one to use for a particular task. Discover advanced selection techniques to speed up silhouetting, selection and masking tasks while learning which tools are best for the job at hand.

Michael Ninness, InDesign senior product manager, paid his way through the Graphic Design program at the University of Washington by teaching digital imaging tools and techniques. Since then, he has worked professionally in the graphics software industry as a product manager and user interface designer of products for creative professionals at Extensis, Microsoft, and Adobe. In 2005, Ninness became executive director of Lynda.com, an award-winning education provider of self-paced online video training, CDs, books, and events. He is the author of Photoshop 7 Power Shortcuts and is a contributor to Photoshop User and Design Graphics magazines, and he dreams in keyboard shortcuts. He lives in Seattle with his wife and two daughters, but is always scheming to make his way back to Hawai`i to teach Photoshop.
