Learn advanced principles of Apple`s hit music workstation in this one-day seminar. Delve into the vast uses of Garageband for producing your next hit song or podcast.
This hands-on workshop explores advanced Garageband concepts that include cutting edge synthesizer usage, live microphone recording, advanced effects applications, song construction and composition, sophisticated mixing, mastering and finalizing, and other techniques usually found in high-end audio recording software packages like ProTools and Logic Studio. Students leave this session with a completed three-minute `Idol` masterpiece of their own composition.
Dr. Joseph M. Ruszkowski, audio consultant and clinician with MusicTechPro, has worked as an assistant professor of music technology at the University of Hawaii, an assistant band director at Hawaii Pacific University, and an associate director of music technology at the Word of Life Academy in Honolulu.
