Ruby on Rails is a relatively new entry in the world of web application development but is gaining quickly in popularity. This workshop provides an overview of Ruby, the free, simple, extensible, interpreted scripting language, and Rails, the full-stack, open source Web framework in Ruby for writing real-world applications with more ease and less code. Discussion also covers how Ruby on Rails implements the model/view/controller (MVC) architecture, then walk through the building
