The origins of photography began with black and white images and for many a finely crafted black and white image is still the ultimate form of creative photographic expression.
This intensive course covers the essential digital darkroom aspects of making high quality black and white images using Photoshop CS4. Learn effective ways to convert from color to black and white; master curves for precise tonal and contrast adjustments; learn different ways to apply dodge and burn tools for total control over localized adjustments; and explore a range of techniques for creative toning, tinting, and digital "hand-coloring.`
Sean Duggan is a photographer, digital artist, and educator who combines a traditional fine art photographic background with extensive real world experience in the field of digital imaging.
