Bring your imagination to life with Photoshop`s layers and masks. Designed to make using layers and masks enjoyable and easy to learn, this session begins with an overview of the Photoshop workspace. Through demos and hands-on projects, learn how to develop and produce creative images from concept to completion. Covers all the key uses of layers and masks for adjustments, non-destructive edits, filters, effects, retouching, and effortlessly combining photos, text and scans. Gain the confidence to pursue any creative digital project!

Bring 10 RAW, JPG or TIFF photos or scanned elements on removable media to class.

David Julian holds a BFA from Pratt Institute, and is a widely-published photographer, illustrator, and mixed-media artist. His teaching method blends technical processes with pure artistic vision. He has published in Nikon World, PRINT, Communication Arts, Archive, Digital Photo Pro, Rangefinder, PC Photo, PhotoMedia, and Layers. Active as a portfolio and software consultant, Julian also partners with Canon, Wacom, OnOne and Alien Skin. Julian also leads a 675-member Photoshop User Group in Seattle. He is represented worldwide by Corbis, and his work can be viewed at www.davidjulian.com.
