Explore the mechanics of color in a digital environment for application in print, web, film and video environments. Learn to calibrate your monitor and insure the colorspace you design in is translated perfectly on paper and on screen. Learn proper techniques to work against color shifts and muddy images as well as how to bring life to your images using illegal, spot, and metallic colors.

Johannes Itten`s 7 color contrast
CMYK, RGB, RGBA, LINEAR, REC709 and many more
indexed color, dithering, halftone, alpha channels & transparency
Ryan Brant is the co-founder and creative director for ADAM, a Hawaii-based branding and production company, where he oversees brand development and experience design for all clientele. Ryan has worked on advertising campaigns, global publishing strategies, and motion graphics for internationally acclaimed artists, commercial photographers, Gigapan, NASA, The Hawaii State Art Museum, The State of Hawaii, Shriners Hospitals and Gentry Homes.
