Learn the fundamentals of Photoshop to modify and improve your photos. Explore the procedures and tools needed to create, edit, and manipulate digital images. Topics include file size and resolution, cropping, use of text, management of layers and image adjustments, color and tonal correction, non-destructive editing, multiple selection tools, image manipulation, perspective control, compositing images, basic retouching, and an introduction to channels and masks.
Use Adobe Bridge to manage and organize your photos. Prepare images for printing, web, and email. You leave with a solid grounding in Photoshop and ready to use its many features.
No prior experience with Photoshop is necessary.
To insure your place in this workshop, please register by February 25. Under the new Outreach College guidelines, if the class doesn`t meet minimum enrollment a week in advance it will be canceled.
David Ulrich is a core instructor and former program coordinator for Pacific New Media. He is an active photographer and writer whose work has been published in numerous books and journals. Ulrich`s photographs have been exhibited internationally in over 75 exhibitions.
