Art Department faculty member Scott Groeniger discusses his art and the role of the designer/artist in political, social, and propaganda visualization.
Scott Groeniger, who received his MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago in 1996, is a new faculty member of the University of Hawaii at Manoa`s Art Department. His artwork deals with issues concerning design as art and the role of the designer artist in political, social, and propaganda visualization. Recent exhibitions of his work include the International Digital Media and Art Association iDEAs Exhibition in Orlando, Florida; The Phebe Conley Gallery in Fresno, California; and the Anita S. Wooten Gallery in Orlando, Florida.
