Not just screenwriters but all writers can benefit from this intensive look at character development and story structure. The instructor screens and discusses the Academy Award-winning screenplay, `Little Miss Sunshine` scene by scene and examines the dynamic relationship between structure and content.
Margaret South, who co-founded All Girl Productions with Bette Midler and Bonnie Bruckheimer, has developed scripts for Disney, Fox, and Tri-Star Studios. She produced the feature films Beaches, For the Boys, and Man of the House and co-wrote, with Bette Midler, A View from a Broad. She has developed material with many writers and directors, including Garry Marshall, Alfred Uhry, Neal Jimenez, Becky Johnston, Jack Rosenthal, Marshall Brickman, Mark Stein, Joyce Eliason, Mark Rydell, Mary Agnes Donahue, Paul Rudnick, Barry Blaustein, and David Sheffield.
