Jackie Mild Lau, MFA, University of Hawaiʻi, is a freelance sculptor and art instructor. She has taught figure sculpture and bronze casting for Outreach College for a number of years. Lau is an assistant curator of Honolulu Academy of Arts and the incoming president of the Board of Hawaiʻi Craftsmen. Her work reflects a passion for creating skewed narratives of people and animals often acting like each other.
Frank Sheriff, MFA, teaches metal fabrication with the University of Hawai‘i Department of Art and Art History. A recurrent theme in his work is that of improbable machines and vehicles. His work has been seen most recently in the Contemporary Museum`s Bienniel of Hawai‘i Artists exhibit.
