This course offers a fun and cultural way to meet people and explore the rhythms and movements of Latin America and the Caribbean. Gain dance skills in salsa, merengue, and cha cha cha. No previous dance experience or partner necessary.
Adela Chu is an internationally known dancer, choreographer, musician, and arts instructor from Panama. She is a founder of the San Francisco Carnaval, Honolulu First Night`s samba parade, and the Afro-Jazz Dancers. Over the past 20 years, she has choreographed and performed in Brazil, Mexico, Jamaica, Holland, and the United States (in the Bay Area, Denver, Santa Fe, and throughout the Hawaiian Islands).
