Summer 2009 Student Parking Permits

Summer 2009 student parking permits are available for purchase at the Parking Office. Permits are sold throughout the summer while supplies last.

A limited number of the following summer permits are available on a first-come, first served basis:

Car/Truck Permits: $68.00
Zone 20:  Lower Campus Parking Structure
Zone 22:  Dole Street/Kanewai Parking Structure
Zone 21:  Hale Wainani dormitory lot, Student Housing residents only
Zone 8:    Hale Aloha and Hale Noelani dormitory lots, Student Housing residents only

Moped/Motorcycle Permits: $14.00
Upper Campus:  Selected upper campus lots above Dole Street
Commuter:        Selected commuter lots above Dole Street
Dormitory:         Selected dormitory lots, Student Housing residents only

Monthly Summer 2009 Evening Parking Permits
Monthly evening parking permits are available for students. Purchase these convenient summer 2009 permits for $18/month (cash or checks, no credit cards) at the Parking Office, M-F, 7:45am–4:30pm.

Present your vehicle registration certificate, driver's license, and validated student identification or proof of registration payment at the time of purchase.

The evening parking permits are valid Monday through Friday in the lower campus parking structure from 1:30 p.m., and in the upper campus after 4:00 p.m. Evening permits are also valid for the entire Mānoa campus all day on Saturday and Sunday.

Visitor Parking (New Rates Effective July 1st)

Upper Campus Visitor Parking

Visitors are not required to stop and pay parking fees to enter at upper campus East-West and Maile Way kiosks from 6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Visitor parking is available in designated visitor lots that are painted with green stalls and borders. The display of a visitor parking ticket is required and may be purchased from a Pay to Park automated pay station located at each lot. The parking rate is $2.00 per half hour (30 minutes). The maximum daily charge is $16.00. Any vehicle displaying a valid visitor parking ticket is allowed to park in any visitor lot green space.

The automated Pay to Park stations will accept quarters, dollar coins, $1, $5, and $10 bills, and credit cards; Mastercard/VISA. The green visitor parking stalls and Pay to Park automated pay stations will be located at the following locations:

Zone 2    Architecture
Zone 4    Center for Korean Studies parking lot
Zone 5    Bio Med parking lot
Zone 10   Kennedy Theatre parking lot
Zone 13   Kuykendall lot
Zone 17   Music lot

An information attendant will be stationed at the East-West kiosk on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to provide visitors and University guests with parking information.

A flat parking rate of $5 applies to the entire campus after 4:00 p.m. Gate attendants will be posted to collect the $5 fee upon entry from 4:00 p.m. to closing, Monday through Friday, and on weekends.

Lower Campus Parking

A flat fee of $4.00 is charged upon entry for parking in the Dole Street and Zone 20 Parking Structures from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After 4:00 p.m., the $5 campus-wide rate applies.
