Tuition Waiver for Employee or Spouse/Domestic Partner Information and Forms

IMPORTANT: WITHHOLDING OF TAXES ANNOUNCEMENT

UH Employee or Spouse and Domestic Partner Tuition Waivers may be applied to a limited number of Extension courses under certain conditions. Due to the self-support nature of these courses, ALL EXTENSION TERM COURSES (4-digit course reference numbers) ARE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL. Some courses have additional conditions.

Once the waiver has been processed, a NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE College Administrative Fee (CAF) is charged for each registered, eligible course in the Extension terms for Fall, Spring, and Summer.

STEP 1: REGISTER DURING LATE REGISTRATION
Registration must be done during the LATE REGISTRATION PERIOD for each course. Late registration period begins on the first day of the term or Varied-Date course and ends on the last day to register, as listed on the Course Academic Calendar (www.outreach.hawaii.edu/calendar/main.html). Outreach College will not process tuition waiver forms after the last day of the term.

STEP 2: SUBMIT COMPLETED WAIVER
DOWNLOAD FORM: Employee Waiver Form | Spouse/Domestic Partner Form
SUBMIT FORM(S) TO: Outreach College Student Services, 2500 Dole Street, Krauss Hall Room 101; or fax to (808) 956-3752.

STEP 3: WAIVER APPROVED

  1. Waiver processed.
  2. A non-refundable College Administrative Fee (CAF) is assessed.
  3. Notification is sent to student's UH email (username@hawaii.edu).
  4. Once the waiver is processed, student is responsible for paying all course fees and the non-refundable College Administrative Fee (CAF)

OR

STEP 3: WAIVER NOT APPROVED

  1. Notification is sent to student's UH email (username@hawaii.edu).
  2. Student will be given the option of being disenrolled from the course or paying full tuition.
  3. After a week from the notice date, if no response is received, student will be dropped from the course.
