How do we create photographs that affect others? Develop the skills and insights necessary to document moments, objects, and events of deep personal significance. Focus on making strong visual images, developing visual literacy, and practicing the art of editing.
Explore the expressive and technical elements that go into making compelling photographs. Class includes photo reviews; discussions of ideas and visual concepts; and a review of the technical elements of camera, lenses, formats, and workflow.
Dana Forsberg holds a BFA in Photography from the University of Colorado at Denver. She has exhibited her work at numerous venues, including Denver International Airport, Ron Judish Fine Arts in Denver, The Contemporary Museum at First Hawaiian Center in Honolulu, and the Incheon Art and Cultural Center in Incheon, Korea. Her work has been featured in Korea Daily, Artweek, The Honolulu Advertiser, Honolulu Magazine, and the Denver Post. .
