Review basic issues regarding the diagnostic and therapeutic uses of imagery, and go through the experience of a number of images which have been used successfully for diagnosis and treatment of health problems.

Several important techniques are demonstrated through work with volunteers who suffer from chronic health problems. The various steps of the process are clearly outlined. Showing that therapy need not always be a long and laborious process, case histories illustrating the successful use of imagery in the clinic are presented and discussed.

Workshop covers:
• Therapeutic tools which are effective
• How to enhance imaging ability
• How to bypass resistance and defenses
• How to quickly uncover and resolve unresolved conflicts from the past
• How to spot the healing core in images of childhood traumas
• How to connect with the enormous inner wisdom of the human system.

For details about Healing Images: Connecting with Inner Wisdom, a public lecture by Dr. Sheikh on May 28, see http://www.outreach.hawaii.edu/community/sakamaki.asp.
