Enjoy the Hawaiian Summer as a Visiting Student

VisitingStudent

What can you expect?
Hawai‘i enjoys near-perfect weather year-round. During the summer, daytime temperatures at sea level average 85° F (29° C). Gentle tradewinds keep things comfortable. Beachgoers enjoy a water temperature of about 80° F. Pack light clothing, but you may want to bring a jacket or wrap for the relatively cooler evenings (low to mid-70s at sea level).

The University of Hawai‘i
A venerable institution beginning its second century, the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa is a premier research institution of international standing. Browse the summer links to learn more about UHM Summer Sessions and its surroundings.

Register for classes that fulfill your degree or graduation requirements. Check with your home institution about transferring credits. Explore subjects that are ideally studied at the University of Hawai‘i. You can study multiculturalism (see Ethnic Studies); Hawaiian and other Asian/Pacific studies, and languages; astronomy, tropical agriculture; international trade; and more.
