Access the Online Application

Apply online for the UHM Outreach College using the University of Hawai’i System Centralized Application Service (CAS) by Liaison.

Step 1: Create an Account

• The Applicant Portal login is separate from your UH Account login. 
• If this is your first time using the Liaison Centralized Application Service (CAS), please create an account.

1. Click Create Account.
2. Fill in the blanks (e.g., your name and contact information).
3. Click the Create Account button at the bottom of the page.
4. My Extended Profile: Click the drop-down menu and select Citizen (US), Non-US Citizen, US National or COFA Citizen or US Permanent Resident and indicate if you are a recent Hawaiʻi high school graduate (graduated within the past two years)*.
   • *Answering this question incorrectly could cause delays

Step 2: Choose Your Application

1. Click the “Add Program” icon in the dock. Under Filters, ensure Available Programs and University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa Outreach College are checked.
2. Find the program with the correct Term and Year you are looking for.
3. Click the plus sign (+) in the bottom right corner.
4. A check (√) marks your selected program. Click the Continue button to proceed.

Step 3: Complete the 4 Quadrants

On your dashboard, you will find the 4 parts or quadrants of your application to complete:

1. Personal Information (7 sections)
2. Academic History (2 sections)
3. Supporting Information (2 sections)
4. Program Materials (1 section)

The Program Material section has questions and requests documents to upload that are specific to the program you selected.

Step 4: Submit Your Application

Click the My Programs button in the upper right corner to view the status of your application(s). If complete, you will be able to click on the “Submit Program” or “Submit Application” button, once all 4 sections or quadrants are completed.  

Upon successful submission, please allow up to 10 working days for your application to be processed and our notification to be emailed to you.

Having Trouble Submitting Your Application?

1. Are all the Sections complete? If not, please go back and review your answers.

2. If itʻs the Program Materials quadrant, ensure you have answered the QUESTIONS and DOCUMENT sections.

Program Materials: Questions sections

1. Click the expand arrow to the left of the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa Outreach College Questions to view the questions.
2. Answer the English Proficiency and Educational Goal questions.
3. Next, answer the questions specific to the program you are applying to.
4. Click Save and Continue at the top of the Questions sections.

Program Materials: Document section

• Upload a document or click I Am Not Adding Any Documents.

3. If all sections are complete, click the Submit button on the Submit Application page.
