PROGRAM; STORIES FROM THROUGHOUT ASIA AND HAWAI‘I
Dann Seki is a stage and screen actor as well as a storyteller. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and is on the Board of Directors for Kumu Kahua Theatre.
From Aiea, Hawai‘i, Dann is a proud graduate of Aiea High School. Dann has degrees in Audiology and Health Services Administration. As an actor, he has appeared in numerous local commercials, most of the television shows filmed in Hawai‘i, and on stage at many of the local theatres. He was on the air at KUMU-FM for many years.
A storyteller since 1994, he has performed statewide at various libraries and senior centers; at the Windward Community College Storytelling Festival, the Talk Story Festival, First Night Hawai‘i, on a statewide tour of “Pearl Harbor Remembered,” and many other storytelling events. He enjoys all kinds of stories, but particularly origin stories, ghost stories, and stories that share cultural and life lessons from Hawai‘i and the world.
