SHARING…things we need to know:
- Requested time(s) and date(s) for program
- Address of performance location
- Billing information (name of organization paying and billing address)
- Estimated age range of audience
- Size of audience (size limitations apply to certain programs
- The dimension of performance area (depth and width in feet)
- Performance area floor surface (wood, carpet, linoleum, etc.)
- Availability of a private dressing area other than a restroom
- Number of microphones available
IMPORTANT INFORMATION…the fine print
- Travel costs beyond the artist’s home island and Big Island programs requiring an overnight stay are in addition to the artist’s fee
- Hands-on workshops that require supplies for participants are additional
- Most programs vary in length from 45 minutes to one hour, unless otherwise specified. Some workshops and residencies may require multiple sessions with each classroom or group to complete project
- Payment for all programs is made payable to the University of Hawai’i and payable upon completion of the program and upon receipt of an invoice
- Non-receipt of a signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by sponsor may delay the start of a program
- Non-return of a completed evaluation form may jeopardize future programs and funding (if applicable)
FOR YOUR INFORMATION
Once your program has been confirmed you will receive a packet containing event contract (MOA), coordinator confirmation/information sheet, artist biography, evaluation sheet, and instructional study guide (depending on individual artist)—if applicable to program.
