Jeff founded, produced, and hosted the Talk Story Festival for 27 years. Many years featured a Neighbor Island tour. That’s where Jeff met Kohala’s revered kupuna elder, Marie Solomon, a Hawaiian warrior. Their prickley friendship spanned more than a decade of tours, festivals, visits and finally, her wake. As covid life passes, profound tales of experiences with Marie keep coming up. It’s time for Jeff to share them.
