Yasu has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre for Young Audiences from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He has performed around the country, including at Disney Summer Stage Kids in New York; the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C.; and at the Hawaiʻi Book and Music Festival.
