CEFR Speaking Descriptors

Level One
A2: Basic level participants are typically able to talk about familiar, everyday topics.
B1: Low-Intermediate level participants are typically able to talk about general or familiar topics with relative ease.

Level Two
B2: High-Intermediate level participants are typically able to talk about most general or familiar topics, and to make themselves understood when discussing more complex or academic topics.
C1: Advanced level participants are typically able to communicate fluently and effectively on a wide range of topics with little difficulty.
