The Thompson School of Social Work & Public Health, which in addition to social work, includes the Office of Public Health Studies, and the Center on Aging, is dedicated to providing educational excellence in social justice, health equity, and gerontology. Our work is founded in human rights, respect for and inclusion of diverse peoples, and environmental stewardship. Our unique focus is on instruction, research and service that resolves problems and builds resiliency for a global community, and with special attention to Native Hawaiians and the diverse peoples of Hawaiʻi.
