How to get started
• Introduction to Statistics (ECON 321) does not require prerequisites.
• With equivalent competencies, and after speaking to an advisor, you may seek instructor approval as an alternative to the below prerequisites:
• Complete Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 130), then register for ECON 301
• Complete Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 131) then register for ECON 300
Coursework
This micro-credential includes three courses (9 credits total):
ECON 300 – Intermediate Macroeconomics
ECON 301 – Intermediate Microeconomics
ECON 321 – Introduction to Statistics
Courses are offered fully online through UH Mānoa’s Economics Online Degree Completion (ECOD) program and are also available in person for day students.
