Academic Calendars
Review add, drop, and withdrawal deadlines for your courses.
Outreach College offers courses lasting one to twelve weeks. Courses have different start and end dates, so deadlines vary.
Deadlines are based on your course start and end dates — not the full semester. Courses with the same start and end dates share the same deadlines.
You are responsible for knowing the deadlines that apply to your course.
How to Check Your Deadlines
Find Your Course Dates:
Open your STAR Registration Details in your UH Dashboard, or view Browse Classes.
Match the Dates:
Locate those dates in the Academic Calendar table below.
If your course dates are not included in the Academic Calendar table, email ochelp@hawaii.edu for assistance.
Review the Deadlines:
Student fees are refundable only if you drop the course on or before the first day of the course.
Financial Aid:
Enrollment changes may affect your financial aid. Aid will be reviewed and adjusted as required by federal regulations. You may owe a balance. Contact Financial Aid Services for more information.

Refund and drop deadlines are available in STAR GPS Registration. Click Refund/Drop Deadlines on any course in your cart to view specific dates. Courses must be dropped by 11:59 PM HST on the deadline date for 100% or 50% tuition refund.

How do I know which calendar applies to my course?
Match your course start and end dates to the dates shown in the Academic Calendar table. If your course dates are not listed, email ochelp@hawaii.edu for assistance.
What happens if I miss a deadline?
If you miss the refund deadline, you may owe tuition. If you miss the withdrawal deadline, you may receive a “F” grade.
Where can I find my course dates?
On Browse Classes or your STAR GPS Registration details from your UH Dashboard.
Will withdrawing affect my financial aid?
Yes. Federal regulations require aid to be reviewed and adjusted when enrollment changes.
