About the Instructor

Hannah Liebreich is a feminist criminologist who teaches and researches topics related  to policy and intersectionality. Currently, she’s a post-doc with a local nonprofit where she researches the houseless community – In particular, the impact of COVID-19.

Varied Dates (online – 06/7-08/13/21)

In this class, we will learn about social policies and how they impact women. The focus will be on social institutions such as education, the economy, and social services, to name a few. Topics will be examined on the local, national, and international level. This class is notable because not only will we cover women and social policy broadly, we will also hone in on specific local issues.
