Summer 1 (ONLINE Asynchronous)
No Textbook-Cost course

This course will make you a better writer by teaching you about good writing and providing feedback to your assignments on word choice, grammar, making every word count, and much more. You will choose what to write about while creating a self-portrait, review, travel article, profile, and issue article. The ability to write well will be valuable all your life, personally and professionally, no matter what your career.

You will enjoy this course because you choose what to write about. For instance, your review can be about any artistic creation you like: an album, movie, TV show, fashion line, restaurant, or whatever. Your  travel article can be about any place you like, from a series of local surf spots to a global destination you once visited.
