Summer Session 2: July 7 – August 14, 2025

Students accepted to UH Mānoa for Fall 2025 are eligible to participate in the Early Start Program!

NOTE: Adjustments for health and safety reasons will be made as needed.

Why wait until the fall? The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Early Start Program (ESP) allows you to start your college experience during the less hectic summer–with a variety of benefits!

ESP Option A: Take a course or two during Summer Sessions (Session 1 or Session 2). Program staff will help you navigate the process and provide support as questions arise.

ESP Option B: Take a course or two during Summer Session 2 (July 7 – August 14) and attend workshops on campus and outings to help you acclimate to UH Mānoa and meet other students.

Benefits Include

  • Choose from 270 courses (220 are online) offered during the summer. For Option B, choose from 125 online and 35 in-person or hybrid courses in Summer Session 2.
  • Register for high-demand courses to fulfill basic course requirements.
  • Save money–the resident tuition rate applies to ALL Summer Sessions undergraduate courses.
  • Learn how to navigate the college environment during the less hectic summertime, including Mānoa’s libraries and other student resources.
  • Attend a program orientation to make sure youʻre all set for your first college course.
