Summer Session 2: July 1 – August 9, 2024

If you are currently in grade 12 and coming to UH Mānoa in Fall 2024, get an early start on your college experience with the Early Start Program.

NOTE: Adjustments for health and safety reasons will be made as needed.

This program allows incoming UH Mānoa freshmen the chance to ease in to college with one or two classes in the summer and includes resources and activities designed specifically to make the transition from high school to college a smooth one.

The Early Start Program gives you a chance to register for high demand courses in the summer so you can fulfill basic requirements earlier and with the bonus of program staff to help you along the way. Interact with faculty and advisors who can help you navigate your academic career. Get to know the campus, including Mānoa’s libraries, recreational and health facilities, Campus Center, and other student resources and be better prepared for your fall semester of college!

Application available in Spring 2024.

Application deadline: May 15, 2024
